We compare two apportionment methods used in Bulgarian electoral practice in 12 parliamentary elections in the period 1991-2021: the D'Hondt method and the Hare-Niemeyer method. Extreme properties of D'Hondt method are also analyzed for the Bulgarian electoral system consisting of 240 parliamentary seats and 4% barrier. The effect of rounding errors on automatic voting computations is also demonstrated.
