The publication fee for the International Journal of Applied Mathematics (IJAM) is structured according to manuscript length, additional features, and review type. For the Standard Review option, the base fee is USD 900 ( 1,620 лв.), which covers manuscripts of up to six pages. If the manuscript exceeds this length, an additional charge of USD 75 ( 135 лв.) per page is applied for each page beyond the sixth, up to a maximum total fee of USD 1,500 ( 2,700 лв.). Manuscripts that include colored graphs, charts, or images will incur an extra fee of USD 30 ( 55 лв.) per image per page in order to cover production costs. For example, a twelve-page manuscript with three colored images under Standard Review would result in a total fee of USD 1,245 ( 2,240 лв.), which includes the base fee, the charge for six additional pages, and the fee for three images. For authors who wish to accelerate the review and publication process, IJAM offers a Fast-Track Review option. The base fee for this service is USD 1,500 ( 2,700 лв.), The same additional page and colored image charges apply to fast-track submissions, although the total fee may exceed the standard cap, reflecting the priority and expedited editorial handling. In addition to these fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs) may apply to authors or their supporting institutions. These charges are intended to cover the publisher’s essential operational expenses, including server maintenance, upkeep of the journal’s website, assignment of DOI numbers, publishing and archiving of issues in selected libraries and databases, as well as the costs of managing the peer review process and other editorial workflows. By contributing to APCs, authors and institutions help ensure the sustainability of IJAM as an open-access platform committed to disseminating high-quality research globally. All payments can be made in either USD or Bulgarian Lev (лв.), and fees are strictly non-refundable once a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare concise manuscripts and to limit the use of colored figures in order to manage publication costs effectively. This transparent fee structure ensures fairness while supporting the editorial, peer review, and production processes required to maintain IJAM’s commitment to high-quality open-access research dissemination.
